The Mastiff is the latest addition to the Mutt Family and it is brutal, yet refined, and oh boy have we stepped up the game with this little tarmac pounder. Our desire was to make the Mastiff the king of the Mutts, so with that in mind, we decided to add a little love here and there to make him a little different, yet still retain that unmistakable outline of a Mutt Motorcycle which we have kept will all the Mutts.
First up is that monster tank which was designed specifically for our two newest models, the Mastiff and the GT-SS. We wanted to keep the classic tank shape but add a helping of steroids, so we boosted the capacity to 17 litres. Sitting on the Mastiff and looking down at the huge tank is a beautiful sight. To keep that classic British vibe we topped it off with a Monza style chrome cap.
It isn’t only the tank that makes this bike distinguishable from the rest. The contrasting, custom slope-backed seat narrows the rear end of the bike giving an overall impression of front loaded muscle just like its Bull-Mastiff namesake.
The black, angular rims with stainless steel spokes and brushed stainless steel exhaust set off the silver bash plate and handlebars really nicely to round off a real head turning machine.
As with all of the Mutt 250 fleet, the EFI offers instant power off the mark and great fuel efficiency. The time-proven engine has great bottom-end torque and puts a genuine fun-loving smile on your face.
Bosch ABS is fitted as standard which offers excellent stopping power and a much safer ride than most bikes at this price point.
Mutts also feature a Fuel Vapour Recovery System (FVRS), this takes evaporated fuel vapour, usually lost into the air, and stores it in a carbon filter for use when next starting the bike. Not only saving the planet but saving your precious pennies and preventing your garage from stinking of petrol.
